The Arukah counseling team
Tammy Render-Morris, LPC, MA, CAADC
Working with people who are struggling with a variety of issues is my passion. It is a great privilege to journey with clients through the healing process and for clients to gain relief from pain, sorrow and symptom relief. In this process clients are able to gain coping skills, gain self confidence, heal from addiction and reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety. My greatest joy is offering hope and healing through the counseling process.
Life is always challenging and there are times when we can all use a little help along the way. Counseling is for everybody because everyone can benefit in one way or another. Assisting others with marital issues, addiction, depression, anxiety, grief, self esteem, social anxiety and a variety of other issues are all possible for healing
Each person is viewed from the unique individual that they were created to be and are. There is no situation, no pain or sorrow that can not benefit from coming to counseling. There is always hope, there is always help, there is always healing. It would be a great privilege to help each of you on this journey called life.

Therese Dion, LPC Intern
My passion is to meet people where they are at in life. We are all living our own stories, and I want to help you make your story the best it can be. I believe that God has created each of us for a purpose and helping you live that purpose to the fullest is where I want to be. Life is hard, and we do not have to do it alone. I want to uplift you and encourage you in in your hardships. My goal is to bring you to a place of hopefulness, a joyful spirit, peaceful heart. I strive to create a warm, safe, and accepting environment where you can share your story.
I am experienced in working with high schoolers and adults on issues relating to depression, anxiety, grief and loss, self-harm, life adjustments, trauma, and self-esteem. I use Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I received my Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology from Central Michigan University and will receive my Masters of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with honors from Faulkner University.
