  • Faith Based Counseling

    Faith-based counseling integrates faith into the therapy process to promote improved mental health from a biblically-informed perspective.

    As society continues to experience rising rates of depression, anxiety, addiction, and other mental health issues, counseling informed by the love of Christ an His Church is becoming increasingly important.

    Proverbs 20:5 "The purposes of a person’s heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out.

  • Addiction Treatment

    People from all walks of life can experience problems with their drug use, regardless of age, race, background, or the reason they started using drugs in the first place. It’s not just illegal drugs, such as cocaine or heroin, that can lead to abuse and addiction.

    Drug abuse and addiction is less about the type or amount of the substance consumed or the frequency of your drug use, and more about the consequences of that drug use. If your drug use is causing problems in your life—at work, school, home, or in your relationships—you likely have a drug abuse or addiction problem.

  • Anxiety/Stress Management

    Stress involves reacting mentally and physically to a specific experience in your daily life, such as moving away from home, final exams, or lack of money to pay bills that month.

    Anxiety is what happens when stress continues without the stressor. It tends to involve excessive fears such as harm to loved ones, being unsuccessful in life, or the unknown future.

    Just the action of speaking anxieties aloud helps to relieve the acute pain of it. Coping skills will help with the management of the symptoms.

    Philippians 4:6-7 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

  • Depression Management

    Some types of depression may be caused by life events, stressful experiences such as bereavement, trauma, divorce, or financial worries. Other types can be caused by seasonal changes, menstruation, or pregnancy and childbirth.

    Your personality type can also play a role in depression, as can genetics, certain medications, and alcohol abuse.

    Whatever the cause, you do not have to go thought depression alone. Walking together with others can be the first step to healing and depression.

    Psalm 143:7-8 “Answer me quickly, Lord; my spirit fails. Do not hide your face from me or I will be like those who go down to the pit. Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life..”

  • Building Self Esteem

    With a world full of constant criticisms and messages of “work harder; be stronger; get smarter - thinner - better - more”, it is easy to forget that each of us are made perfect the way we are. God created us for His purpose and His plan, and God does not make mistakes.

  • Grief Management

    Grief is a natural response to loss. The pain of loss can feel overwhelming. You may experience all kinds of difficult and unexpected emotions, from shock or anger to disbelief, guilt, and profound sadness.

    Grief can also disrupt your physical health, making it difficult to sleep, eat, or think straight. These are normal reactions to loss—But your story does not end with loss. We continue on living. Finding our path to coping with loss and learning to live life again.

    John 16:22 “So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.”
